Aquatic bugs are key in ensuring a healthy river system. Their waste
production is a surprisingly important part of the nutrient cycle in rivers.
Therese will discuss why bugs and their pee are important and how climate
change can affect these small charismatic species. She will be sharing her
experience and enthusiasm working in tropical rivers on the Island of Hawaii
to help answer her research questions.
