I am a high school teacher and yoga teacher with my MEd from the University of Alberta. In my spare time I enjoy checking our fun and educational events around town and I'm so excited to be back for Halifax's second year as a Pint of Science city!

This experiment of mixing pints with science has been occurring for generations. Let’s continue the tradition! I also experiment with solar cells, astronomy, cube satellites, podcasting, and sonar. Graduate of Dalhousie in electrical engineering.

I’m a (not-so-recent) grad of Acadia with a bachelors in Geology and a hardcore nerd passion for talking about rocks. Science outreach and education are very dear to me- as is a well made gin and tonic

I am an electrical engineer who enjoys spending time outdoors, skiing, hiking, and fly fishing. I love learning new things and exploring topics I know nothing about, especially over a cold beer!

I recently finished my M.Sc. in Astronomy in Halifax. I love showing people the night sky and telling the stories about what we see, sparking a science-y curiosity in them. I also have two dogs that are my whole world: Ripley and Kepler.

I completed a degree in Computer Science after taking a programming course for fun. Now I work as a software developer, but still love learning about all scientific disciplines. PoS is a great way to casually learn and share knowledge with others.

I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Process Engineering at Dalhousie University in Halifax where my research focus is on the development of biopolymer composites for building-scale 3D printing. I love collaboration and work with dozens of artists, architects, engineers, and scientists.
